“Being Zen” is learned through regular meditation. When you think of meditating, you might imagine sitting silently on a cushion and doing absolutely nothing, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Yes, you assume a posture of stillness for a while, but as you sit quietly, you attentively observe what’s happening inside your mind and body. Thoughts, tingles, and other sensations. It might feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but ultimately, it helps you get to know yourself better. The outcome: in the short term, you’ll experience more tranquility, heightened concentration, and deeper sleep. In the long term, you’ll gain a better understanding of yourself (and others), meditation will bring more energy, and you’ll have the tools to lead a happier life.
Additionally, this form of meditation is very focused on awareness, goal-setting, and dialogue techniques. So, it’s a great tool to use for your (personal) development.
Curious about what Zen meditation can do for you? In this workshop, you will learn the basics and immediately get to know yourself better.”
