The workshop ‘Eat healthy’ is suitable for anyone who wants to work on healthy food, but does not know where to start.
“What is healthy?” is a question which is very difficult to answer. When you search the internet for the answer to this question, you will come across countless results and they often contradict each other. Moreover, almost every manufacturer praises its product as healthy, responsible or a superfood. As a result, the courage to start eating healthier can sink you before you even start.
What are you going to do?
During this workshop together with our colleague, Milou Veenhuis, you will discuss the general question of how you can determine what is healthy for yourself. What are reliable sources if you want to know more about healthy eating? What should you consider when choosing a product? Milou explains the different components of food (and drinks) and what the consequences can be for your body.
In addition, you will dive into an improvised supermarket together to learn to read labels. In this way you can better determine in the future whether a product fits within your healthy diet. Finally, Milou will debunk a number of myths about nutrition and shares handy tips to guide yourself through difficult moments.
Milou Veenhuis – “I have now given this workshop a number of times and it is always received with great enthusiasm. I want to offer you the tools to determine for yourself whether the food you choose is healthy. Whether it’s a smashing new and unknown product or grandma’s old-fashioned pea soup.”
